Which Religion Is the Best Religion and Why?
The true religion among the religions would be the one that enables incomplete humans to become complete. Although there are countless religions in this world, none of them were able to make people become Truth. In Christianity, people believe in Jesus who came 2,000 years ago. In Buddhism, they believe in Buddha who came 2,500 years ago. In Confucianism, they believe in the teachings of Confucius. And then there are Hinduism, Islam, and tens of thousands of kinds of religions.
However, the true meaning of Christianity is the belief that Jesus will come again to save humankind, and in Buddhism, it also says that Maitreya will come to the world to save the people, and in Seondo, it says the Jungdoryung, the righteous leader of Truth, will come. There are so many different religions and their denominations, and each says that they have the true God. People do not have wisdom, and therefore, no one knows which one is the correct one. In order to properly know this, one has to seek God, Buddha, Allah, Haneolnim from within one’s self to find it.
In the Bible, the Buddhist sutras, and the Qur’an, they also say that God, Buddha, and Allah, respectively, exists within the self and that one should not believe that it exists here or there. Each religion has given a name to this existence, but they all refer to the same existence of Truth. The ultimate purpose of religion is for this world and people to become complete and live eternally in the Land of Truth. Only the one who is born in Heaven and Paradise, the one who is born in the Land of Truth, while living, will be born into Heaven and Paradise “within you” and live there. When God, Buddha, Allah, Haneolnim that are Truth exist within one’s mind, one should be born in that world to live eternally. This is how one can tell whether a certain religion is correct or not. The best religion is the place where one discards his karma, habits, and body that are one’s sins, goes back to the original source, which is Truth, and is born again in that land.
