Which God Is Correct?
Christians believe in monotheism, but Greeks believed in polytheism, while Spinoza believed in pantheism. There are also atheists. Among all these different beliefs about God, which one is correct?
Before the coming of Truth, there were many gods. These gods were not simply souls, but gods. In other words, a god is one who is without self, and the world of gods is a place where one has left the world of souls where people have selves or egos. The world of gods is divided into five different levels of gods but in the future, they will unite, because only when there is one God is it truly completion.
The many gods will become one, and that one will be changed into perfection. Though many different forms exist they do not exist, and though they do not exist they exist. This is the status of one God. In other words, it is the Universe and the original body of the Universe.
The original body of the Universe is the energy of the origin. God exists yet He does not, and He does not exist yet He does. This existence itself is the original God, and though one might have form if he does not have a self, he is a part of this original God. Therefore, polytheism was correct during the time before the coming of Truth but in the era after the coming of Truth, monotheism is correct.
