INTRODUCTION
β¨ In this illuminating teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that the true purpose of religion is not blind belief or ritual, but the completion of the mind β the journey of becoming Truth itself while living. πΏ
All religions ultimately seek one thing: to enter the Land of Truth, the eternal Heaven and Paradise that exists beyond life and death. Although humanity has long fallen short of this goal, now is the time when people can truly reach it through repentance and rebirth as the Spirit and Soul (Jung and Shin) of the Universe. π
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
What Is the Purpose of Religion?
The ultimate purpose of religion is for a personβs mind to go to Truth and be born in Heaven and Paradise, which is the Land of Truth. Although religions have been unable to fulfill this purpose, the time has now come in this universe when it can be realized. Now it is time to go to the eternally living Heaven and Paradise, the Land of Truth while living and become Truth, which is the true purpose of religion. It is time for one to repent, for oneβs mind to become the Jung (Spirit) and Shin (Soul) of the universe, and for the world and oneβs self to be born in that land.
