๐Ÿ’ก INTRODUCTION

What exactly is the mind?

According to Master Woo Myung, the mind can be divided into two parts: the true Mind and the false mind.

  • The true Mind is Truth, Buddha, God, and the original natureโ€”a state that exists before and beyond the universe.
  • The false mind is simply oneโ€™s accumulated memories, the record of the life one has lived, stored within the body.

๐ŸŒฟ Understanding this difference is essential in the path to enlightenment, as only by discarding the false mind can one awaken to the true Mind.

What Is the Mind?

The mind can be divided into the โ€˜true Mindโ€™ and the โ€˜false mindโ€™.

The true Mind is Truth, Buddha, God, and the original nature, all of which refer to the state that is before and beyond the universe.

Meanwhile, the false mind is oneโ€™s accumulated memories, or in other words, the life one has lived. And so it is oneโ€™s body that is the false mind, for it is what stores those memories.
