INTRODUCTION
β¨ In this insightful teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that the words βholyβ and βdivineβ do not simply refer to something rare or impressive. Their true meaning is far deeper: to be divine is to be like God and Soul, who exist in the realm of absolute nothingness.
Because God and Soul exist amidst absolute nothingness, that place itself is holy. This writing reveals the essence of what divinity truly meansβbecoming the same as God, Soul, and Truth. π
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
To Be Holy or Divine
Although the place of God and Soul is the place where absolutely nothing exists, the existence of God and Soul does exist. The place of God and Soul is divine or holy because they exist. Truth – God and Soul – is divine because God and Soul exist amidst absolute nothingness.
We often use the word divine or holy when we see something for the first time or when we see something that is rare. However the words divine or holy mean to be like, or the same as, God and Soul.
