INTRODUCTION
✨ In this poetic reflection, Master Woo Myung explains that while spring brings life and vibrancy to nature, humans remain trapped in their own desires and illusions. 🌿 Though people may learn what is “right,” without breaking free from their self-made prisons, they cannot know Truth.
The will of Heaven is not a fixed law but the compassionate urge to teach man how to awaken. It is both existent and non-existent, always guiding seekers to return to freedom and Truth. 🌌
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
The Will of Heaven
Spring –
the season in which all creations
are vibrant with life
in every slope and valley.
People are at their leisure,
but live ignorant of Nature’s logic.
Man has been trapped in
the wants of his life for too long.
That he is trapped means he has trapped himself;
it means he is unable to escape from it.
So though he may have been taught what is right,
if he does not know reality,
he cannot know Truth.
That man is unable to know Truth is because
he is trapped in his world
and has never been outside of it.
Therefore, Heaven’s will is to teach man how.
Heaven’s will does not actually exist,
and yet it does.
In haste, I live running after man.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, seekers learn to step outside the false world of desires and discover the logic of nature, which is Truth. 🌸 The will of Heaven is revealed not in words, but in the practice of discarding falseness and awakening to reality beyond the self.
