INTRODUCTION ✨

In this clear, foundational teaching, Master Woo Myung describes the Mind as the totality of creation — not an idea or a thing separated from life, but the very foundation of existence itself. The Mind is simultaneously Heaven, earth, and man; it contains every created form and every future becoming. When one understands the Mind in this way, ordinary distinctions fall away and the world is seen as a single, living whole.

Key words to notice: Mind, Heaven, Earth, Creation, Foundation, Existence, Thought.

The Mind

The Mind is absent of wants.
The Mind is all creations in the universe.
The Mind is the minds of all individual things
which are of various shapes and images
that live and think.
The Mind has never existed or not existed;
it just is.
The Mind is the real world –
the whole of the Mind world.

The Mind is Heaven, earth, and man.
The Mind is one; it is not separate.
The Mind is simply the whole of creation;
it is every single thing in the universe.
The Mind is man’s foundation
and the whole of his existence;
the Mind and man are not separate.
The Mind is thought;
it is one which is cut off from all things.
The Mind is every single thing that has been created
and every single thing that will be created.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION 🌿

Master Woo Myung’s teaching invites a shift from seeing the mind as a private, desire-driven inner space to recognizing it as the universal ground that includes all forms. In practice, this translates into living with a sense of oneness — perceiving others and the world as expressions of the same Mind. At Santa Clara Meditation, the practice helps remove the small, self-centered images so the larger, inclusive Mind can be experienced directly.
