The Meaning of the Bible Verse, ‘Believing in One’s Heart and Confessing with One’s Mouth’
Religions today tell us that by faith alone one can go to Heaven. However, no one seems to understand what faith really means. To have faith means to become completely one with what we believe in; it means to become that which we put our faith in.
A person who believes in Jesus Christ must become Jesus Christ himself, in order to enter Heaven. He who confesses that Jesus Christ – the living God – exists in him can be born again in Heaven. And a person who has received an answer from the God within him saying that God does indeed dwell in him may enter. Such a person is Truth, itself, and because he is Truth, he has eternal life; because he is Truth, he lives for Heaven is his.
To merely say that one has faith in Jesus Christ is not enough for a person to be born into Heaven. True faith comes from enshrining Christ within oneself, accepting that Christ dwells in one’s heart, reconfirming His existence within oneself, and confessing it with one’s mouth.
