The Living World

Blue birds are blue,
and sparrows are the color of sparrows.
Each is camouflaged in its own way.
Other animals have their own camouflaging colors.
All animals live, die, and are born in their own way.
Nobody taught them anything.
Yet they breed and nurture, come and go on their own,
just as Truth exists on its own.
All creation lives a limited life on this earth, then disappears.
One who does not know where to go,
does not have a place to go, will grieve.
But one who knows where to go,
knows there is no going and coming,
remains as it is.
One must carve out his own destiny;
human completion can
only be achieved by one’s utmost efforts.
While the universal principle is
that all creation exists on its own,
there is still cause and effect.
While the universal principle is
that all creation exists through the harmony of this and that,
the origin of all is one.
All existing shapes are the manifestation of the origin.
The life of all shapes is the life of the origin.
The whole of creation is already alive and enlightened.
This land is already heaven;
only people, as they are not enlightened,
are trapped and dead in their tombs.
Those whose consciousness is not reborn as that of Truth
are dead.
Those who are not the undying Energy of the universe,
the original soul and spirit itself,
are dead.
Every creation on this earth that is in the kingdom of God is alive.
But because people do not know God,
because they have not become one with God,
they live in the kingdom of the dead; they live in hell.
People live by what they have in their minds.
One who has
the eternal and never-dying God in his mind,
will live as it is without death.
People live busily, earning money to take care of their bodies.
The more palaces you build in your body,
that will eventually die away,
the harder it is to come out from your deep grave.
You are merely digging
a deeper, more fortified tomb of death.
One who lives as Truth does things as Truth,
has accumulated his fortunes in the kingdom of Truth,
and will live eternally with that fortune.
This is the wise man.
The existence or non-existence of all creation depends on
whether it exists or does not exist in a person’s mind.
He who has Truth in his mind
knows that everything is one and alive.
Like wind, like water, without hindrance,
he lives as is, and exists as is, eternally, forever and ever
by the will of the universe.
