🌍 How was the world truly created? In this insightful reflection, Master Woo Myung explains that creation was not the result of a personal will of God, but rather a natural unfolding of the harmony of Nature.
🌿 Though we often speak of God’s will, Master Woo clarifies that this “will” is not something that actually exists in the way we conceive. Instead, it is the natural flow, the interconnected process by which one thing gives rise to another. This continuous unfolding is what we call creation.
📖 The Bible speaks of creation through the Word (Logos)—and Master Woo Myung reveals that this Word is not speech, but rather God’s fundamental nature. That state of existence, or Truth, is what caused all things to come into being.
✨ Creation, then, is not a one-time act by a personified being, but the manifestation of God’s nature through natural harmony.
The Creation
The world was made by the will of God. This will of God does not actually exist, but if we were to put a name to it, it could be said that the world was created by the flow of Nature. In other words, it means that one thing came to be because of another due to the harmony of Nature, and it is this process that we consider to be ‘creation’, even though God does not actually have a will to create. The Bible says that God brought forth creation by His Word, or ‘logos’, which means that God’s Word is His fundamental nature. This fundamental nature is the state of God, and it is because of this that God created everything.
