INTRODUCTION
β¨ In this thought-provoking writing, Master Woo Myung explains the meaning of the age of manβan age in which man becomes the master by rising above truth as he knows it. This does not mean opposing Truth, but overcoming the fixed thoughts and conceptions that bind him. πΏ
By changing the self-made mind, man can live as the Universe itself, no longer confined by old beliefs. This passage reveals the shift from the age bound by truth to the age where man, God, animitta, and nimitta meet in one unified existence. π
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
The Age of Man
It is the age in which man is the master.
In order for man to be master,
he must overcome truth.
The universe and the whole of creation exists
because man exists.
Manβs thoughts are what define him,
and so by changing his mind,
he is able to become the master.
In the past man was bound to truth.
In order to rise above truth,
he must change his fixed thoughts
so that he may eliminate the conceptions that he has
and live as the Universe.
Such would be the age of man.
Though man may disappear,
the state after which one has overcome truth is
the age of God;
the age in which animitta and nimitta are one is
the age of man.
