πŸ’‘ INTRODUCTION

Who is truly a superior person? 🌟

According to Master Woo Myung, a person who thinks of himself as superior or clever is actually inferior, for he has bound his own legs with his mind.

✨ The truly superior person is the one who is not self-superior.
But man clings to possessions and endlessly tries to gain moreβ€”even attempting to possess Truth (Dō, 도). Yet to possess is to create burden and karma.

🌿 True greatness lies not in superiority or possession, but in humility and freedom from greed. Only then can one walk the path of Truth.

A Superior Person

A person who believes himself to be superior,
a person who believes himself to be clever,
is actually a truly inferior person,
he is someone who has bound his own legs.

Who is a truly superior person?
A person who is not self-superior is truly superior.

Man holds onto all sorts of things,
and tries to gain even more,
but the problem lies in the possessing.

To possess is burden and karma,
and on top of everything else,
man tries to have dō, Truth.

Man is truly greedy,
but it is hard for a self-superior person to have Truth.
