What is the reason some people become spiritual mediums or fortune tellers?
A person becomes a spiritual medium when he is invaded by another soul or spirit.
This does not pose a problem for someone who has become one with his real self, but when a soul enters the body of a person who has not become one with his real self, he suffers greatly.
Some spirits enter a spiritual medium’s body to resolve anger or to carry out their desires.
The person becomes a medium and he is controlled by that spirit. This is what a spiritual medium is.
When a person’s mind is weakened and loses its foundation another soul can come in. This is called possession.
Everyone is influenced by their ancestors because man is born with a mind that resembles his ancestors.
When an unenlightened spirit desires to carry out its unfulfilled will it enters someone until they are no longer useful, at which point it moves on and enters its children and descendants. Hereditary spiritual mediums are such cases.
A prediction or prophecy made by a spiritual medium is not done by the medium himself but by the spirit that possesses him.
The mind has no past, present, or future so the human mind can appear like an image.
The spirit possessing a spiritual medium uses these images to make predictions.
Some prophecies turn out to be correct, but many are not.
