INTRODUCTION

🌿 According to Master Woo Myung, the mind is the Universe itself — vast, eternal, and interconnected with all creations.
When the mind holds sorrow or regret, that energy spreads throughout existence, dimming the harmony of the whole.
True purity arises only when the mind is free from sorrow and regret, returning to its original clear and boundless state.
By cleansing the mind, we cleanse the Universe within us. 🌌

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Sorrow and Regret

The mind is the Universe,
so when the mind holds sorrows and regrets,
it affects all creations.
The mind is originally something
that did not appear or disappear;
it is simply all things that exist.
Therefore, when there are sorrows and regrets in the mind,
they become the sorrows and regrets of the Universe.
One’s mind must be free of sorrows and regrets
in order to have a pure mind.
The poison from a mind with sorrows and regrets
is shared among all things and people.
Sorrows and regrets in the mind
do not originally exist.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

💧 The mind’s emotions ripple across the Universe like waves on still water.
At Santa Clara Meditation, we learn to discard sorrow and regret, restoring the mind’s original purity.
When the false self disappears, the true mind—calm, bright, and infinite—emerges.
Through mind-subtraction practice, we discover that what we thought were “our” sorrows were never ours to begin with. 🌠
