INTRODUCTION
In this direct and essential teaching, Master Woo Myung explains why a sinner is not someone who commits worldly wrongdoing, but someone who possesses the human mind—a mind filled with attachments, self-centeredness, and falseness.
Such a mind is dead because falseness itself is death. As long as one lives inside this false consciousness, heaven cannot be reached. 🌑
Heaven is the realm of the living, the eternal world where only the Creator, the unchanging Truth, exists. Therefore, only by cleansing the false mind and recovering the mind of Truth can one enter heaven.
This teaching makes clear that spiritual salvation is not about belief—it is about becoming Truth itself. 🌟
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
A Sinner Cannot Go to Heaven
A sinner is one who has a mind – his human mind.
He is one who has an attachment-filled mind,
which is the reason he is a sinner.
A sinner is one who has a self-centered mind
and so there is no reality therein,
only falseness.
That which is false is not real but a delusion.
Falseness is death, itself.
A person who has this false mind
is one whose consciousness is dead
and is thus unable to go to Heaven.
Heaven is a place where only the living may go.
Heaven is the place where only the Creator,
who is the eternal and never-changing Truth,
may live.
