The Work of the Savior, Maitreya and Jungdoryung Is Salvation – To Teach the Method of Salvation
People commonly believe that the Savior is someone who will come to the world riding on a cloud, and that he will take them to heaven if they have been devout followers of their religion.
It is also commonly thought that they were simply chosen to live in this age of Maitreya, the yonghwa world (the world after the advent of the Maitreya) and that they will automatically become enlightened when the Jungdoryung comes.
But the Savior will make everyone cleanse their dirty bodies and minds, or in other words, wash away their unclean sins so that they can become one with the Creator and Truth.
A person who has many sins will not be able cleanse them all, while a person who has cleansed all of his sins will go to eternal heaven.
