🪷 Introduction
Why do people suffer?
According to Master Woo Myung, it is because of their minds—specifically, the karma formed from the mood of their life lived.
💭 This chain looks like this:
- The mood of life → becomes karma
- Karma becomes a burden
- Burden becomes restriction
- Restriction becomes confinement
- And confinement is the opposite of freedom
🌱 These burdens and restrictions are not imposed from the outside. They are born from within the mind.
True freedom, then, comes only when one is liberated from this mental confinement and returns to Truth—to where one truly belongs.

📝 ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Restrictions
Minds make people suffer,
because minds are a continuation
of the mood of the life one lived.
The mood of his life becomes his karma.
Karma is a type of burden;
and burden is a restriction of freedom;
and restriction is a kind of confinement.
Confinement is the opposite of freedom—
it is to be bound within something.
These things are karma and burdens of the mind.
All people must be liberated
and return to where they should be,
in order to go towards Truth.
