INTRODUCTION

โœจ In this profound reflection, Master Woo Myung teaches that all beings and creations are representations of Heaven. A human being is simply a human being; everything in this world is what it is. ๐ŸŒฟ

From birth, man gains only the mind he creates. His original state and the source are one, yet they are also non-existent. Existence and non-existence are not opposites but oneโ€”showing that all creations, including man, are non-existent representations of Heaven. ๐ŸŒŒ

Representations of Heaven

Life is life.
Man is man.
Though a stranger may live in a foreign place,
he is still a person.
Though a familiar person may live among others,
he is still a person.
A human being is a human being.
Everything in this world is
what it is.

The only thing that man gains
from the moment he is born
is none other than the mind he creates.
His original state and the source are one;
furthermore, they do not exist.
That they do not exist means
they originally exist.
Existence is non-existence,
which is why to say that something does not exist
means that it does,
and that something exists
means that it does not.
All lives that are born of the world are non-existent.
Thus the representations of Heaven are
all creations, including man.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

At Santa Clara Meditation, seekers learn to see that existence and non-existence are one, and that all beings are manifestations of Heaven. ๐ŸŒŒ By discarding the false mind and returning to the source, one awakens to this truth and lives in oneness with all creations.
