INTRODUCTION
โจ In this comprehensive teaching, Master Woo Myung brings together science, religion, and philosophy to explain the true reason and purpose of human life. ๐
๐ฟ He shows that despite different explanations about the origin of the universe, they all point to the same sourceโTruth, the Creator, the original nature.
This passage reveals that the ultimate purpose of life is not survival, comfort, or belief, but to become Truth and live in the eternal kingdom of Truth. ๐

The Reason and Purpose of Human Life
Science tells us that hot gases in the original universe exploded and fiery clusters of matter formed; some cooled into stars and others into planets. Some religions say that the universe was created by the word of God, and others say that the universe came forth on its own. These theories all seem to be different, but they are actually the same.
The word of God is logos, reason, and original nature. It is the sky before the sky, Truth, the Creator of the Universe, and the Soul and Spirit from which every creation in the universe came forth. Humans cannot see God, Truth, with their eyes, so there are those who are atheists.
Not long ago, there was a tsunami that hit Southeast Asia and took many lives. But even though humans disappear, the sky, which is the universe, remains as it is. If we imagine that this earth disappears, the sky will remain as is; even if all the celestial bodies disappear, the sky will still exist.
When human minds become the sky, man will be able to see the Creator and know with wisdom that everything in the universe is created by the Creator. When oneโs mind is cleansed and returned to the mind of the Creator, he will know the Creator to the extent he has the Creator in his mind.
Surely the Creator โ the soul and spirit of Truth โ created everything in the universe and because the Creator made it, everything in the universe is a child of the Creator. However, when humans have difficulties, they question the purpose of their pain and burden saying, โIf the omnipotent, omniscient Creator exists, shouldnโt the Creator have created humans complete, without pain and burden?โ
During the age of growth in the universe, the human population increased because of mankindโs greed; it would be wise to harvest when the human population has reached its peak on this Earth. Although the Creator has no will, this is the will of the Creator.
The kingdom of the Creator has always been complete, and everything in it is alive; only humans cannot become one with Truth because of their sins. They have a self-centered selfish mind, which exists for the bodyโs comfort and splendor. This is sin and karma. Because they have possessiveness in their minds and are bound to themselves, their minds are trapped in their tombs, which is death, and are unable to become one with Truth, the original owner. You will meet Truth when your body and mind โ your self โ is cleansed. You must be born again, beyond your own existence, as Truth, in order to be a child of Truth, and you will live in the eternal, never-dying, living kingdom of Truth.
Truth is the living, never-dying existence. When you are Truth and complete in this universe, you will live forever because you have become Truth while living; you will live forever because you have gone to the kingdom of Truth while you are alive. Now is the time when people can become Truth โ the age of fruition. There is nothing higher than Truth, nothing more perfect than Truth, and there is nothing beyond Truth; what religion seeks is this existence, perfect Truth, even though each religion gives it a different name. For human to become Truth is to become a complete person. This is the only way to live forever.
The reason and purpose for human life is to become Truth and live in the kingdom of Truth forever; one who does not become Truth during this age of fruition will die.
