Introduction

✨ In this profound reflection, Master Woo Myung speaks about the passage of time, the inevitability of death, and humanity’s struggle to understand the true purpose of life. Although time silently moves forward and consumes all things, many people live without realizing where life comes from or where it ultimately leads.

According to Master Woo Myung, human beings are deeply attached to the temporary world they build during their lifetimeβ€”pursuing dreams, possessions, and achievements as if they will live forever. Yet life passes quickly, leaving behind regret and unanswered questions. 🌌

This teaching emphasizes that people often hear about Truth, yet fail to understand it. The place of Truth is not merely a concept or beliefβ€”it is the place where one actually becomes Truth. Only by discarding the false self and awakening to the true world can one transcend the limitations of human life.

Through these words, Master Woo Myung calls readers to awaken, recognize the fleeting nature of human existence, and seek the place where true life and eternal Truth can be realized. 🌿

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Even When They Are Told That The Place Of Truth Is Where One Becomes True, They Cannot Hear

Time is passing by and I am getting older.
Silent, fleeting time is the devil that gobbles up everything in the world.

Everyone lives life without knowing its meaning and purpose,
then succumbs to the devil of time,
ignorant of where he is headed.

Man wants to live awhile longer and cannot let go;
he leaves behind his regrets, tears, his last will and testament,
then departs this world, this human life.

People do not know where the dead have gone
and because they themselves have never died
they do not know the world beyond death.

It is only possible to know that world after one has experienced death.

The world man goes to after death is a false world
that does not exist in the land of Truth.

He passes away after living his one human life –
and he is dead forever.

He is dead because his Soul and Spirit is not born in the kingdom of Truth.

The people of old blamed life, calling it meaningless and in vain.
Did they blame it because the life they lived disappeared,
or because they do not exist in the world?

I want to ask them,
but they have all passed away so there is no way to know.

Human life disappears like a dream, a cloud, or smoke,
leaving behind so much resentment and bitterness
in so many stories that could not be told.

Man lives life building and building his castle,
living only for himself, as if he will live forever.

But he accomplishes nothing and has nothing –
his life is like a floating cloud.

No one has the wisdom to know this,
so man lives bound by his own chains.

All the things that come and go, appear and disappear,
but everyone lives one life and then disappears
in ignorance of where one comes from and returns to.

The true compassion and love of heaven has not forsaken us;
it has without fail given us this time, this thankful season,
of saving our pitiful lives and the world in existence.

Without fail this time has come,
but man, bound by his own chains, does not know the time he is in.

Inside his burden, man who has hunger
does not know the world, the events of the world,
nor the true will of the world.

He cannot hear the call to live a lifetime of the world,
instead of living a lifetime of a meaningless human life.

When one seeks from within useless scraps,
from within the burden he carries,
all that he finds will be useless scraps.

In that place, with that mind, all one does
is speak the words of one mentally unsound;
the words of a ghost, a delusion.

One might babble the events of the true world,
or stories of the true world stolen from the books he has read,
but he who devours all things just consumes what is false.

He does not understand that Truth is in the place where one becomes true,
and continues to devour false scraps.

If the place you are attending is Truth
shouldn’t you already be Truth yourself?

Isn’t the only place that is real and true,
the place where one actually becomes true and real?

If you have ears, then hear these words,
and if you feel these words are right, applaud;

then seek out the place where one can become true,
become Truth, and be born as a righteous person in the land of righteousness.

We need to come to our senses;
we must know what we should seek and do.

Whether time or the rivers or all that is the world’s passes by,
he who greets the everlasting world
is a person who is wise and blessed.
