INTRODUCTION
✨ In this quiet and contemplative piece, Master Woo Myung reflects on the pure existence of the pine tree—an evergreen that stands steadfast through all seasons. The pine neither speaks nor thinks; it simply exists in its natural state, untouched by time, intention, or resistance. 🌿
Through this imagery, the writing reveals a profound contrast between nature and the human mind. While the pine comes and goes of its own accord, living in complete harmony with the Universe, man is unable to see the pine as it truly is because thought interferes. This poem invites readers to observe the world without the filters of judgment and concepts—to see things as they are, as the Universe created them. 🌌
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Pines
The pine is an evergreen tree in the mountains.
The pine whistles in the wind.
The pine stands without a word;
no matter spring, summer, fall, or winter,
it stands.
The pine simply exists.
The pine has no will.
The pine knows not the passing of time.
The pine came naturally.
The pine will leave of its own accord.
The pine knows nothing.
The pine simply comes and simply goes.
Man cannot see the pine as a pine.
Man thinks.
