INTRODUCTION
๐ In this writing, Master Woo Myung addresses the ancient philosophical question of the original substance of all creation, examining the views of early philosophers such as Thales and Anaximander.
This teaching reveals that neither water nor an indefinite principle is the true origin, but rather the pure energy of the originโthe fundamental existence that gives rise to all things in the Universe. ๐ฟ
Master Woo Myung clarifies that this energy has no form, yet truly exists everywhere, filling both vacuum and non-vacuum states, and is the living foundation of all creation. โจ
๐ ORIGINAL WRITING BY Master Woo Myung
What Is the Original Substance of All Creations?
One of the very first philosophers, Thales, claimed that the original substance of the world is water. Anaximander gave us the theory of apeironโan indefinite matter that is infinite and indestructibleโwhich tells us that movement of cold and hot temperatures creates fluids, which in turn becomes air, and from air all creations are made. What is the original substance of all creations and how was it created?
Thalesโ theory that the original substance of all things is water and Anaximanderโs theory that an indefinite principle that is infinite and indestructible is the original substance are not right. The original substance of all things is the pure energy of the origin.
Energy of the origin has no form, but it is something that actually exists. Air is the combination of energy of the origin with other by-products, so although Anaximanderโs theory is not right, it is close. In order for all creations to be formed, there must be pure energy of the origin. Energy of the origin is the energy of the Universe that exists in the entire Universeโin the states of both non-vacuum and pure vacuum.
