✨ Introduction

In this striking insight, Master Woo Myung reframes the meaning of sin from the perspective of Truth itself. Rather than moral rules or behavioral restrictions, he explains that the only real sin is failing to become one with Truth.

This teaching reveals that living in delusion and falseness leads to spiritual death, while becoming Truth leads to true life. 🌿 It is only when one becomes Truth that one fully understands why not becoming Truth is the only sin.

The Only Sin Is Not Becoming One with Truth

There are many conceptions of sin in the world that strive to restrict our behavior. The Ten Commandments is one among many different lists of sins.

From the viewpoint of Truth, the only sin in the world is not becoming Truth and living as Truth. Nothing else is a sin. This is because one dies if he lives as a sinner with delusional falseness but he lives if he becomes Truth. It is possible to know that not becoming one with Truth is the only sin when one has become Truth.
