INTRODUCTION
In this profound teaching, Master Woo Myung explains the true meaning of Han-se-sangβa Korean term often misunderstood as merely βone human lifetime.β
Rather than referring to seventy or eighty years of earthly life, Han-se-sang actually means the one eternal world, the world where the individual and the whole are one. π
This βone worldβ is the world of God, the complete world of Truth, free from birth, aging, illness, and death.
Only those reborn as the forever-living, never-dying Energy of God can live in this world while alive.
This writing invites us to transcend the small world of human suffering and awaken to the true Han-se-sang, the eternal world of the great universe. πΏ
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
One World
Koreans use the term Han-se-sang, βone worldβ, to refer to one lifetime of a human. People grumble that it is difficult to live in this Han-se-sang.
The true meaning of Han-se-sang is that the whole world is Han-se-sang. It is the whole world itself; it is not the world of human life, which spans a mere seventy or eighty years.
In this one world, the living material and non-material existence are one. It is a world where death does not exist. It is a world free from birth, aging, illness, and death. One who is in this one world will live forever, and this world is the world of God where there is no this and that. The individual and the whole are one, and the world of heaven is one world, the world of the living soul and spirit of the great universe itself. It is the kingdom of the forever-living, never-dying God; it is the complete world of Truth beyond which you cannot go any further. Only one who has been reborn in this Han-se-sang, one world, while living becomes the Han-se-sang and lives. He lives having been reborn as the forever-living, never-dying Energy of God.
