INTRODUCTION

✨ In this illuminating writing, Master Woo Myung explains that a person who turns his back on the world lives like a ghost—inside a grave of his own mind, isolated and trapped in illusions. The only true way to live is to return to the world, follow nature’s flow, and live according to the real world rather than a self-made illusion. 🌏

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Nature’s Flow

A wanderer who has turned against the world
does not have anywhere to go.
He lives inside his mind, with burdens, sufferings and agonies.
By living a life against the ways of the world,
he is trapped inside a grave.
When a person of the world listens to the chattering of ghosts
who are each inside the graves of their own greatness,
he finds they do not acknowledge each other,
and only speak about themselves.
They all want to be acknowledged –
their stories are all of how great they are,
asking you to come into their worlds.
None of their stories are of any use,
all of them are lies, and more lies.
Man steals what belongs to the world while living in the world,
and having forsaken the mind of thankfulness to the world,
the existence of which allows all creations to exist,
he makes his own world, duplicated from the real world.
It becomes a false world,
and because he has turned away from the true world,
it is death.
His outer form may resemble a human-being,
but he is not a person, he is a ghost.
A ghost is an illusion,
and a ghost believes his self exists,
but a person who has come to his senses
can see that a ghost does not exist.
Ghosts are afraid of ghosts and do not trust other ghosts.
There is an old saying, that when walking in a deep forest,
it is not the animals or ghosts that you should be afraid of,
but people.
This means people are ghosts,
and it is people who harm other people.
One who has turned his back on the world
will die and become a ghost.
He has nowhere to go
because he has turned away from the world;
he will end up dying eternally
because he has turned away from the world.
Know the true meaning of these words,
and come back to the world and live.
There is no world outside of the world,
and there is nowhere to live outside of the world.
There is nowhere to live, for there the world does not exist.
The world you stole as you pleased is not the world,
it is a place where ghosts live;
it is the world of ghosts, and ghosts themselves
are of a non-existent world, so it is death.
Come back, lost child, to the world!
Live according to the ways of the world,
and live in a world of nature’s flow.
All things happen according to their conditions –
there is not one thing that happens
according to the nonsensical thoughts of a ghost.
