INTRODUCTION

✨ In this profound and philosophical writing, Master Woo Myung explains the nature of God as eternal Truth, beyond existence and non-existence. 🌿 While people often say that Truth is what never changes, few can explain what Truth truly is. Here, Truth is revealed as the state before the universe existed—even before the concept of the universe itself.

Master Woo Myung teaches that God exists within nothingness, and that nothingness and God, though seemingly separate, are in fact one. 🌌 This oneness is the eternal, never-changing Truth. Existence and non-existence are not opposites, but a single reality—the Whole.

This writing further reveals that one who becomes one with the Infinity is reborn as God and Truth itself. 🌠 Through hon-jul—the complete connection between man and God—one is born again in the Land of Truth, which is Heaven, and lives eternally without death.

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

The Nature of God Who Is Truth

People say that which is eternal and never-changing is Truth.
But when asked what Truth is, no one is able to answer.
The eternal Truth is the Universe
before the word “universe” even existed.
It is the void before and beyond
the void of the universe.
It is the state in which nothing exists –
a state in which even that non-existence itself does not exist.

But amidst that nothingness, God exists;
within that nothingness, there is God,
and all things are manifestations of Him.
God is the nothingness that does not exist,
and He is also the consciousness
within the nothingness.
Though the nothingness and God are separate,
they are one,
and this ‘one’ is the eternal
and neverchanging Truth.

Truth is the immortal and eternal God.
It exists eternally as it is in the universe
without changing.
This is why even though the Earth
was placed in the non-existent void,
the space itself has neither expanded
nor shrunken;
and it is within that existent image of Earth
that Truth exists.

Therefore, the phrase
“existence and non-existence are one”
means existence is entirely non-existence,
and that non-existence
is one with existence;
it means that the world is one.

He who becomes one with the Whole –
the Infinity –
is reborn as God.
He is the incarnation of God –
the son of God –
and so he is Truth, itself.
And because he is Truth,
he will not die.

Every person that has become one
(in other words, every person
that has gained ‘hon-jul’)
in that Land of Truth
is born again as God and Truth,
and therefore, that Land is Heaven.

Hon-jul is a traditional Korean word
which literally means
‘complete connection between man and God.’
That a person has gained hon-jul
means that his soul and spirit
has become one with God,
who is Truth.
