✨ INTRODUCTION
In this explanation, Master Woo Myung clarifies the deeper meaning of moderation beyond common philosophy. 🌿
He teaches that true moderation is not merely balance in life, but the completion that exists between existence and non-existence—the place of Truth.

What is moderation?
Moderation means that there is no overflow or anything lacking. In terms of Truth, moderation means perfection or completion that is in between existence and non-existence.
However moderation as commonly spoken of refers to human philosophy and not Truth. It simply speaks of a peaceful way to live human life, so there is nothing to be learned from this.
Moderation in Confucianism is the ideology of the unity of heaven and man. No one truly knows how this unity will come about.
The unity of heaven and man means these two things become one. Man comes from the emptiness of non-existence and returns to it, so when his self completely disappears he becomes vitality, which is the emptiness of non-existence. This is the unity of heaven and man.
The ideas and thoughts of a person who has not achieved this unity is not Truth.
Truth does not reside in what one knows — everything that exists, just as it is, is Truth.
