INTRODUCTION
β¨ In this deeply introspective poem, Master Woo Myung reveals how the mind creates, wanders, destroys, and ultimately becomes the Universe itself. When the false self disappears, one becomes emptiness, and in that emptiness one realizes: the real substance of my mind is me.
This is the state where the individual self dissolves, the Universe becomes oneβs true form, and true existence is awakened. π
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Mind II
It is my mind that leaps.
It is my mind that flies.
It is my mind that wanders and is lost.
It is my mind that builds images on top of images.
It is my mind that becomes the Universe,
It is my mind that dies in the Universe.
It is my mind that kills all of my body and mind.
It is my mind that makes my body and mind disappear.
I am becoming the emptiness;
I do not exist.
Now that I do not exist,
I am the Universe.
The Universe is a sort of emptiness.
I am huge and endless,
I am simply the Universe itself.
The real substance of my mind is me.
