INTRODUCTION
✨ In this illuminating teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that the Messiah is not a figure descending from the sky on a cloud, but the existence of Truth itself. The scriptures describe the Messiah’s return symbolically because people trapped in their mind worlds cannot recognize Truth even when it appears. 🌿
To “meet the Messiah” is to encounter the real Truth that transforms a false person into one who is born in the true world. When man becomes Truth, Christ has come—for the true Christ does not belong to form, shape, or image. Salvation, therefore, is the process of discarding falseness and being reborn as the living Truth. 🌌
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
When Will the Messiah Come?
Many people believe the Messiah –
Christ who was crucified two thousand years ago –
is somewhere up in heaven and will come down on a cloud
with trumpeting angels to save us.
It is also written so in the Bible,
but the term Christ refers to the true existence
who has become one with the Creator and Truth.
In other words, it refers to a person who is real and alive.
What it means when it says that Christ will come again,
is that the existence of Truth will come –
for then the Messiah has come.
Salvation is changing a false man into Truth.
Even when Truth comes to the world,
man will not recognize Truth for he only sees the outer form
and he does not have any Truth in him.
This is why it is said man does not know anything.
Man who is inside his mind world only knows what is in his world
and he does not know the principles of the true world.
The meaning of “the Messiah will come hidden on a cloud”
is people who live in their mind worlds
will not know when Truth comes or goes;
they have no Truth within them,
so even when the true Christ, Truth, comes
they will not know.
Man who does not live in the true world
does not know the true meaning of the Bible,
the Buddhist scriptures or any of the other scriptures.
Christ who is Truth, does not dwell in a form or shape –
when man becomes Truth,
Christ who is Truth, has come.
The salvation of man
is falseness becoming Truth;
it is being born in the real world from the false world.
Christ who is real must come,
for only he can make man become Truth.
