β¨ Introduction
β¨ In this powerful teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that true meditation is not simply about relaxationβit is about the complete elimination of the false self.
πΏ To reach true enlightenment, one must repeatedly discard the self, breaking down layers of attachment and illusion across eight levels of meditation.
π Only when the false mind is completely removed can one become one with God and the Universe, and finally become complete.
π« This teaching reveals that the path to Truth is not easyβbut it is the only way to reach true Heaven, true life, and true existence.

You Must Meditate Until You Have Been Thoroughly Eliminated, for Only Then Can You Become One with God and Become Complete
The meditation method
for dying in each level is different.
But in order to be enlightened in all eight levels,
one must discard and eliminate
oneβs existence countless times.
In each level, oneβs attachment-filled mind
must be broken down enough to pass that level.
There are those who feel very frustrated
right before passing a level,
while others try endlessly to abandon themselves.
Amidst all of this, they eventually pass each level.
Those who acknowledge the fact that
they themselves are sinners
and have made a resolution to kill their demons
do a relatively good job of meditating.
But those who do not realize this
and think that they will simply just go to Heaven after they die
are ones with strong, self-centered standards
and thus cannot overcome this mountain of theirs.
Heaven is a place where the truly penitent may go,
which is the reason why man receives judgment.
The meditation is about
making Truth and the falseness that is in oneself
fight each other.
If the falseness covets Truth, there can be no Truth.
If Truth wins and thus ignores and eliminates the falseness,
then Truth will exist.
It seems that those who have a lot of karma –
in other words, those who have a lot of falseness –
are unable to overcome their mountains.
This is what judgment of good and evil means.
In the lower levels,
people become cured of their diseases
as they cleanse their minds.
And since their minds become more at peace,
they become happy,
acting as though the whole world is theirs.
But at any point,
if he is unable to overcome himself,
all of the work he has put into meditation
is no where to be found.
Such is manβs mind;
man does not know how to be thankful.
The road to Heaven is one on which
man must eliminate his self.
When one follows the method silently and diligently
like the legendary bear in the story of Dangun,
one will become complete.
Man must meditate until he has been thoroughly eliminated,
for only then can he become one with God
and become complete.
This is why I tell people that they must
thoroughly eliminate their selves
in order to become complete.

πΏ Reflect at Santa Clara Meditation
At Santa Clara Meditation, this teaching becomes a practical path.
π By consistently discarding the false self,
β¨ practitioners move beyond illusion,
πΏ and awaken to a state where they are one with Truth.
This is the journey toward true completion, true freedom, and true Heaven.
