INTRODUCTION
🌌 In this profound writing, Master Woo Myung reflects on Thomas More’s concept of Utopia—the no-place land that exists not in imagination, but in the origin of the real self. The ideal world is not somewhere to search for, but something that must be become.
✨ This teaching reveals that speculation and imagination cannot lead to the ideal society. Only when all people live with one mind, flowing naturally as Truth itself, can the present human world transform into the true ideal world, as taught by Master Woo Myung.
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Utopia and the Ideal World
Thomas More, who was the Lord Chancellor of England, asserted the following through his book, “Utopia”: Utopia, the literal meaning of which is no-place land, refers to a social ideal that does not exist in the world. However, Utopia is also a place that will never disappear because it is an ideal that all people aspire towards. What is correct about this statement and how can the present human world become the ideal society?
The ideal world refers to the place of the origin. If asked where it can be found, the answer would be that it can be found where the real self is. It is wrong to speculate about such a place because the real self does not imagine, or have any thoughts whatsoever. In order for the human world to become an ideal world, all people must become of one mind and live according to nature’s flow.
