INTRODUCTION

🌌 In this profound writing, Master Woo Myung explains that all of creation exists because of the Creator, who is the Truth before and beyond the universe. This Creator is expressed as Jung (Body) and Shin (Mind), and also as Energy and Light, the very foundation of every form in existence.

The Creator and Creation

All of creation was created
because of the Creator.
The Creator is the Truth
that is before and beyond the universe,
which is the ‘Jung (Body)’ and ‘Shin (Mind),’
as well as Energy and Light.
The representations of this Energy and Light are all creations.
The Energy is the Body of all creations,
while the Light is the Mind of all creations.
Thus, Energy and Light are the Creator.

What is in this Universe
are the countless stars in the sky,
as well as the Earth, the Sun, and the Moon.
On Earth, there are all sorts of creations,
among which there are also human beings.
The place that is before and beyond
the existence of all such things is
the place of the Creator.
Where all creations came from is
the Universe before and beyond the universe,
and as such they are this Universe itself.
They are creations which have been made to appear.

Everything is created by the Creator,
and it is by His will that all things are created.
The will of the Creator is ‘condition’—
the circumstances by which creation takes place.
Thus, one thing comes forth because this thing exists,
and that thing comes forth because this thing exists.

The stars in the sky were once masses of gases,
but as time passed, they became land;
because of this land, water appeared;
because water appeared,
vegetation, including small aquatic plants, appeared,
and thus plankton and fish appeared.
All such things are the creations of the Creator
from the viewpoint of the Creator, who is the infinite Truth;
it is He who created all things.
From the viewpoint of condition,
everything was born according to
the conditions of earth, water, fire, and wind.
Though these words may seem different from one another,
the two are the same.
Everything came from the place of Truth,
and to it everything returns.

The Creator lives eternally of His own accord.
The Creator allows all existent creations to live,
but man is dead due to his own sins and karma,
which are his delusions.
Therefore, saving man so that he may live according to
the will of the Creator—the source—
is absolution of man’s sins;
he is reborn and lives,
which is why this is ‘gae-byuk (the new beginning),’
as well as the new Heaven and new earth.

Now is the age in which man must enter into this Land—
the Land where the whole of the universe is alive.
May man realize that
the new Heaven, new earth, and new man are within him.
May the Creator create the new Heaven, new earth, and
new man
so that they are the ‘Jung (Body)’ and ‘Shin (Mind).’
The new Heaven, new earth, and new man must become man’s
in order for eternal life and Heaven to be his.

Now is the time in which
all are created to be the Jung and Shin.
Material creation is done by
the animitta of the original Truth.
The creation of all things as being the Jung and Shin
is done by the nimitta of the original Truth.
