✨ INTRODUCTION

In this contemplative passage, Master Woo Myung describes how, from the viewpoint of Truth, every person lives bound by their own delusions and stored mind. He reveals that what people consider β€œliving well” is often only a reflection of illusion, while true life begins only when one becomes Truth. 🌿

This writing invites deep reflection on karma, delusion, and what it truly means to be alive.

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Man in the Eyes of Truth

When seen from Truth’s point of view,
there is not a single person who does not live
as a slave to his own delusions.
Each and every person is a slave to his own mind,
and according to that mind he acts;
according to that mind he lives.

The image in which one lives now is
the mind that he has stored within himself.

Just because one eats well and is well-off financially
does not mean one lives well;
such things are also reflections of one’s own delusions β€”
nothing more than the actions of a person who is dead.

All sentient beings live dreaming a futile dream.
Those that live in their delusions are
unaware that they are doing so.
Those that live trapped in their delusions live
unaware that they are trapped in them.

Every person thinks that he is
living by the virtue of his own greatness;
he does not understand that
all creations live because God wills it.

Man lives following his own karma,
and it is because of this karma that man dies.

Only the one who has become Truth knows the dead.
Only the one who has become Truth is anxious.
Only the living know that the dead are indeed dead.
Only the living know the living.
