INTRODUCTION
ποΈ From childhood, humans build minds made of memories β a vast collection of images from family, society, and experience. In Man Does Not Know Anything, and All of His Words and Actions Are False, Master Woo Myung teaches that these stored βpicturesβ are not reality but falseness itself.
When man lives from these pictures, he speaks and acts through illusion. True knowing begins only when one discards the false self and becomes Truth β when oneβs mind becomes the living God, the consciousness of the Universe.
Completion, therefore, is not more knowledge β it is the end of knowledge itself, replaced by pure, eternal wisdom. π

Man Does Not Know Anything, and All of His Words and Actions Are False
Our minds are formed from a young age, through our daily lives: from our experiences with our families, neighborhood, schools and society. As our minds form, we come to have standards for what we like and dislike, and what we think of as right and wrong and good and bad.
Man, by nature, takes pictures of the whole world within him and stores these past pictures of memories as photos; he is false because the pictures are what speak and move.
What man knows is false because it is the pictures that see and speak. Therefore, he does not actually know anything.
There is true knowing when man becomes Truth and is no longer false – when he becomes living God. Only then does he truly know.
Completion is the state where all knowledge ceases to exist, but at the same time it is also the state of wisdom itself. Thus, it can know everything. But for a man, whose existence is false, it is falseness that speaks and lives which is why it is said that man knows nothing.

For example, the knowledge that comes from having memorized a religious scripture like the Bible or the Buddhist sutras is false because it comes from the pictures that one has taken of that scripture. No matter how saintly one pretends to be or how intelligently one speaks, his words and actions are false if there is no Truth within him.
Man lives, speaks and acts according to the pictures he has, pictures that have no true knowledge. This is the reason man is false.
The words and actions of a person who has become Truth are true.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, this teaching reminds us that the path to Truth begins by emptying the false mind β the countless pictures and judgments we have collected throughout life. πΏ
Human learning and memory are shadows of Truth, not Truth itself. Only when the mind that clings to those shadows disappears can the true wisdom of God emerge β a wisdom without thought, a knowing without self.
When the false ceases to exist, the person no longer speaks from memory but from eternity. His words are Truth because his being has become Truth.
