INTRODUCTION

In this sharp and illuminating teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that madness is not limited to those who speak to themselves or behave strangely.
Rather, anyone who lives according to the commands of their delusions is mad, because they are enslaved by the false mind. 🌫️

A mad person does not recognize his own madness.
In the same way, humans do not realize that they lack their true Body and Mind, and instead live trapped within layers of delusion, habits, and false identities.
Only one who has recovered the Body and Mind of Truth can clearly see the madness inherent in the human condition. 🌟

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

The Mad Are Ignorant of Their Madness

The pains of those living in the world are endless,
for they live according to their delusions.
There can be no satisfaction when one lives
doing what one’s delusions command.

When we see a person talking to himself
and saying delusional things,
we say that the person is mad.
Though a person may seem fine when he is still,
anyone who is a slave to his own delusions is mad.
If you tell a madman that he is mad,
he will tell you that you are mad.
Anyone who lives in his delusions is mad.
He is a slave to his delusions,
and those delusions are his demons and his mara.
A madman knows not of his madness.
Only a person who has recovered the Body and Mind knows
the madness of those who are mad.
There is not a single person who is of his true Body and Mind,
but no one knows this.
