INTRODUCTION
✨ In this teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that the living are those who have become Truth, the eternal Energy and Light of the Universe. The living can recognize both the living and the dead because they have awakened into the infinite consciousness of the Creator.
Those who remain in the false, dead mind cannot recognize the living or divine beings, for they see only through the narrow perspective of their own self-made consciousness. 🌿
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
The Living Know Both the Living and the Dead While the Dead Do Not Know the Living
The living are those who have become Truth.
Truth is the Creator Himself,
for it is alive.
A person who has become this Creator is
the eternal and undying Energy and Light himself
and thus will not die.
He who has become this Creator—
in other words, he who has become
the infinite Universe that is before and beyond the universe—
is one who has been born again as a child of the Creator,
and as such he is one who is deathless
and will thus live forever,
for he is entirely God.
The living know both the living and the dead,
but the dead do not know the living.
The living are the ones who have become Truth,
which is the reason they live.
The dead, however, have dead consciousnesses,
and so they do not know the living.
They do not know that everything is alive,
and that they are trapped within themselves;
they are trapped in their tombs
due to their delusions—their sins
and are thus unable to know those who have been reborn.
What this means is
the divine being cannot be seen through the eyes of man.
In other words, it takes a ‘dō-in (a true being)’ to know a dō-in.
A divine being is human,
but man does not possess the eye to decipher
whether or not a person is divine.
So even though a divine being exists,
man cannot know him.
He who is not a dō-in cannot know a dō-in.
This is because man sees everything from
his own point of view;
because he makes his own judgments;
because he is only able to see from within
his own mold of thinking;
because he is only able to see according to
the mind he has within his image.
Man is capable of seeing and speaking only in proportion to
the expanse of this mind.
It is only when he has reached human completion
and has been born into the eternal Paradise
that he will know for sure he has been born there;
only then will he know those who have been born there.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners learn to escape the tomb of the false mind and awaken as the living, the eternal existence of Energy and Light. Only the living can recognize the living.
By expanding one’s mind beyond its limited frame and becoming the Soul and Spirit of the Universe, one finally gains the eye to see Truth, divine beings, and those who have reached completion. 🌠
