Light and Darkness II
You can see everything when dawn breaks,
but you cannot see anything when it is dark.
Likewise, when you have your own mind within you,
you cannot know the ways of the world.
You will know the ways of the world
when you have true mind within you.
The difference between
having and not having the true mind within
is the difference between true and false.
It is the difference between light and darkness,
the difference between existence and non-existence,
the difference between knowing and not knowing,
the difference between life and death,
the difference between heaven and earth.
Heaven is already perfect and living.
However, there is no one who is living
because man’s mind does not reach heaven.
People live life according to what they have in their minds.
Likewise, only people who have heaven in their minds
will live in heaven for as long as heaven lives.
