INTRODUCTION

✨ In this vivid contrast, Master Woo Myung describes the difference between the world of darkness and the world of light. 🌌

🌿 Darkness represents a life lived without clarity, where untruths prevail because people cannot truly see. Light represents the living world where Truth is visible and life is fully known.

This teaching reveals that real life begins when one is reborn in the light of Truth. 🌠

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Light and Darkness I

The world of darkness.
The world of light.

Darkness
is the absence of light.

The world of darkness
is full of untruths because people cannot see clearly.

Untruths are lies;
people tell many lies,
but they do not know whether their words are true or false.

The world of darkness is a dead world
where people live without knowing it is dead.

In the world of light
everything lives because of the light;
people can see each other clearly in the light,
and they can clearly see and know the false world of darkness.

Light is the living world.
The world of darkness is the world of the dead.

People speak of illusionary things, things they have imagined,
which they have never seen;
this is because they see narrow-mindedly.

They speak of meaningless things.

There are numerous untruths;
when the bright day of light comes,
everything will be discovered to be untrue.

In the darkness, the darkness is thought to be Truth
because people have never seen light
nor lived in the world of light.

To live well and accomplish all
is to live in the world of light where there is life.

The mute live even though they cannot speak, and
the deaf live even though they cannot hear;
even if one lacks something in his mind,
he can still survive without it.

People appear to be alive, in this world,
as they survive by the energy from food;
in the true world,
only the energy and light of Truth is life itself.

Only a person who is reborn with that life
will live because he has life.

The mind will live or die
depending on
whether or not he has illusions in his mind
and whether or not he has Truth in his mind.

🌿 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

At Santa Clara Meditation, this teaching is reflected upon as a way to recognize the difference between living in mental darkness and living in the light of Truth. By cleansing the mind, practitioners begin to live in the world of light described by Master Woo Myung. ðŸŒ
