INTRODUCTION
β¨ In Learning, Master Woo Myung teaches that the countless things people pursue β experiences, stories, and possessions β are but smoke, fleeting and meaningless. Humanity lives in constant turmoil, building its own happiness and sorrow through a false mind that clings to self-created illusions.
True learning, he explains, is awakening to oneβs true self, discarding the mind that is bound by delusion. Real wisdom is not found in knowledge or achievement, but in the wantless mind that knows its source β the oneness that is Truth, the Mother of all creations.
To live in this oneness is to live free, liberated, and whole. πΏ
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Learning
The countless experiences that man seeks to gain,
the countless stories that he seeks to make his own,
are nothing more than smoke –
they are all useless;
they are nothing.
But manβs mind alone is constantly in turmoil,
creating his own suffering, affluence, happiness,
and sorrow,
even his own world.
Thus he is unable to have a mind
that is absent of hang-ups
and live a life free of them.
Furthermore, he does not know what liberation is
and continues living his life cluelessly.
Listen all of you!
May you be reborn
and live free of your foolishness.
A life of foolishness is one that is lived
trapped inside yourself;
it is the state in which
you are unable to find your true self.
Thus I convey to you Heavenβs will,
which is a will that seeks to teach humankind that
to find your true self and to live
is liberation and freedom.
So please cherish what I say and follow it;
learn what a true life is and be the oneness.
This oneness is your foundation.
It is the Mother of all creations.
This oneness is Truth.
It is perfection.
Every person should be of this oneness
and live a decent life.
A person who does not know what is right or wrong,
who thinks he is singular in his greatness,
and who speaks of the virtuous man
but refuses to follow his words
is a person who has no wisdom.
Wisdom is none other than
to know in your wantless mind
the source.
Thus it is in such a life that one must live.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, we learn that true learning is unlearning β letting go of the false mind that creates endless stories and attachments. π
Through meditation, one awakens to the wantless mind β the pure awareness that is one with the source. This is the beginning of real wisdom, where freedom and compassion naturally arise.
To be reborn in the oneness that is Truth is to live in perfect harmony with Heavenβs will β a life of clarity, humility, and peace. πΏ
