INTRODUCTION

In this teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that the Universe itself is Buddha and God, and that all creations are incarnations of this one true nature. The Land of Buddha and God is not a separate heavenly realm but the Land of Truth, where everything exists as one consciousness.

Reaching this Land means transcending karma and habits, becoming the consciousness of Truth, and awakening to the oneness of the Whole.

The Land of Buddha and God

The true nature of the Universe is Buddha and God
in which there is only one true nature.
There is not a single place where
Buddha and God do not exist.
There is not a single thing that is not Buddha and God.
The Universe is Buddha and God,
and all creations are the children – the incarnations –
of God and Buddha.

Non-existence of image is existence of image.
Existence of image is non-existence of image.
Such is oneness.
In the images of all creations lie
the ‘Jung (Body)’ and ‘Shin (Mind)’,
and it is according to their images that they live.
Each creation lives differently from another;
they each live according to their respective images.
Nevertheless all are the Jung and Shin
and are thus the oneness.
That they are the oneness means
they are the representations of the Buddha and God.

The Land of God and Buddha is the place in which
everything is of the true nature of the Universe,
or in other words, the Land of Truth.
The Land of Buddha and God is not
a place of separateness
but a place of oneness.
It is the Land in which all have become one.
That man has become one with
this Land of Buddha and God
means he has become free of his karma and habits
and has become reborn as the consciousness of Truth.
To have reached this consciousness means
to have become unified into the one God –
into the one Truth.
A person whose consciousness has become the Whole,
which is both Buddha and God
will live in the Land of that God.
His consciousness will have become Truth
and so he will live in eternal Heaven.
