Master Woo Myung teaching on infinite creator universe truth enlightenment

Introduction

โœจ In this profound teaching, Master Woo Myung describes the ultimate existenceโ€”the infinite Creator that is at once the biggest, widest, lowest, and highest.

Although people can see the sky and the universe, they do not truly know what it is. According to Master Woo Myung, this existenceโ€”often called emptiness or the skyโ€”is the origin of all creation, the soul and spirit of the universe, and the eternal Truth. ๐ŸŒฟ

However, due to the self-centered mind, people become separated from this infinite existence and instead live within their own delusional worlds. This teaching reveals that true liberation comes when one discards the false self and is reborn as the infinite universe itself.

The Biggest, Widest, Lowest, and Highest Existence in the World

There are many things in the world, and everything in the world can be seen by human eyes. However, there is one thing that people do not know even though they see it. It is the image of the Creator who created the original image of the universe. People call this existence the emptiness or the sky. There is no one who knows what the Creator really is because people have their self-centered minds which are as big as their selves. A complete person is one who knows and becomes this existence. Because humans each have a self-centered mind, they separate every creation, including themselves, from the Creator, and they live within their own delusional universe.

We all know that countless forms were created from this universe. The stars of the universe came forth from this infinite universe as did the sun, moon, Earth, along with every creation on Earth and every human being on Earth. The universe consists of the divine soul and spirit of God, and it is divinity that brings forth everything. Everything is born from divine work, and that divine work is the condition that brings forth everything.

A condition is the cause that enables a material existence to appear. Everything that comes forth is the representation of the soul and spirit of the universe. This colossal universe is made up of the colossal soul and spirit. Even though the shape of everything is different, everything is the representation of this great soul and spirit. The shape is the soul, and the mind within the shape is the spirit.

Every single creation on Earth comes forth according to the condition which is the divine work of the universe; everything that has appeared should simply be the Great Soul and Spirit, but people are distanced from the Great Soul and Spirit because of their self-centered minds. This great soul and spirit is the everlasting, never-dying Truth. It existed before eternity and will exist after eternity; it is a living existence. But people cannot see and become this existence because they do not have the sky, the true soul and spirit, in their minds; they have delusions in their minds which are the size of their own shapes. This is because their minds have not become the infinite universe and because their minds are not born as the soul and spirit of Truth. This is what it means to be dead and trapped in oneโ€™s own delusional tomb.

Delusion is not real but false. People live false lives because they do as the falseness within them dictates. But even though they live false lives, they do not know it is false because they are within that false life. People do not know they are dreaming in their dream, and they only come to realize that the dream is false once they have awakened from the dream. Similarly, when people have only the experiences of their past in their minds, they think that that is Truth and that is all there is; thus they live in their tombs.

When one becomes the living existence of Truth, which is the biggest, widest, lowest, and highest infinite Creator, he is one who has awakened from his dream because he knows that he was dead and trapped in hell. When one is free from oneโ€™s own false conceptions and behaviors and becomes Truth, the infinite universe, he is born as the child of the universe; this is liberation and freedom, for he no longer has his false self. He exists as it is, without conflict, without hindrance, without life and death. When one returns to the infinite universe which will never disappear no matter what, oneโ€™s delusional self will die and he will be born again as the existence of Truth; this is finding the true self.

When one discards both his false mind and his body, which is his self, and also discards the universe, then Truth remains. Then once one completely discards his self to Truth itself, only Truth remains. Because people have soiled minds, they thus have minds that need to be cleansed; such soiled minds are sin. A person whose sin is absolved can be one with the Creator.

Not becoming one with Truth is the only sin there is. In order to become one with the infinite universe, the Creator, you must throw away your mind of attachment, which is yourself. Throwing away the countless self-centered minds and being reborn as the infinite universe is the method to find your true self. When everybody is free from their false self-centered minds and is reborn as complete Truth, then oneness will be fulfilled on this earth. They will forever live on this earth as Truth with the blessings they have accumulated in heaven. And only those who know this will feel sorry for those who do not. People live in this world according to what they have within their minds. The person who has Truth within his mind will live with Truth and live eternally with the blessings he has amassed in the kingdom of Truth.

Reflect at Santa Clara Meditation

๐ŸŒฟ The teaching of Master Woo Myung reveals that what we perceive as reality is often limited by our self-centered mind.

This writing emphasizes that the infinite Creatorโ€”the sky, emptiness, the universeโ€”is already present, yet unseen because of the layers of delusion, memory, and attachment within us. True awakening comes when one discards these layers and becomes one with the Great Soul and Spirit of the Universe.

At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners are guided to cleanse the mind and remove the false self. Through the teachings of Master Woo Myung, one can reflect on Truth, the universe, illusion, self, and liberation, ultimately moving toward becoming the infinite existence itselfโ€”free, complete, and eternal. โœจ
