INTRODUCTION

✨ In this passage, Master Woo Myung reveals how human beings become trapped in the stories, regrets, and worries created by their own minds. 🌌

🌿 He contrasts the silent completeness of nature with the restless, illusion-filled life of people who live inside memories and imagined futures. Only when the illusionary self disappears can one see the world as it truly isβ€”already complete and enlightened. 🌠

This writing points to the freedom that comes when falseness turns into Truth.

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

The Illusionary Affairs of Human Life

Countless stories in the passage of time have all disappeared.
Man lives with sin and karma because he lives inside his mind.

All things, whether they be good or bad, are pipe dreams and illusions,
and man lives without meaning or purpose within them.

A person who holds onto the affairs of human life
lives with many regrets and sorrows.

He does not know what existence is,
nor does he know non-existence,
and he lives bound to the futile matters of human life.

Only silent nature and the silent world
know man’s foolishness.

Man does not know why he lives,
and he lives ignorant of where he must go,
which is the place where he can become Truth,
and that this is to achieve everything.

In order to be reborn as Truth, one’s illusionary self must not exist;
only when it does not exist can one have the viewpoint of Truth.

This is something only a person who has become Truth knows,
and only he can put this knowledge into action.

Only a person who has been to heaven can know heaven.

The many stories which have gone with the years
only exist because man holds onto them.

But a person whose mind is heaven itself does not contain stories;
he lives adjusting to reality, just as it is.

The future only exists for a person who has a mind of past stories,
and he has worries because of this mind.

But he whose mind has become real
does not have the human mind world
so he is free and liberated,
and he lives free from all affairs of human life.

He who has the non-existent human mind is dead within it,
and he lives with suffering and burden inside a non-existent world.

The world is already complete,
and the world is already enlightened,
but only man is not one with the world
and is dead inside himself.

The master of heaven and earth must come
for heaven and earth to be able to live.

What is real must come to heaven and earth,
for man to become real.

Only he who has become real can know
everything man desires to achieve has no meaning.

What is real is the origin β€”
the source that existed before the world β€”
and the world.

Man believes he is living in the world
but he does not live in the world β€”
he lives in his mind that is overlapping the world.

The only salvation is for falseness to become real,
and such a person will be reborn and live in the real world β€”
the eternally indestructible Truth.

🌿 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

At Santa Clara Meditation, this teaching is reflected upon as a way to recognize how much of life is lived inside mental stories. By discarding the false mind, practitioners begin to live in the real, complete worldβ€”exactly as taught by Master Woo Myung. πŸŒ
