✨ INTRODUCTION

In this poetic reflection, Master Woo Myung compares the human mind to a river and contrasts it with the silent flow of nature. 🌿
He shows that while nature flows without stories or thoughts, countless minds exist only within the human mind.

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

The Human Mind II

The flowing river has flowed past;
silently, it flowed somewhere.

It was not within the sounds made when it collided with various things;
and though it made its way by winding here and there,
it was not within the mind of those paths.

Always flowing downward according to the universal order of nature,
water that flows silently,
does not possess knowledge,
or any kinds of minds whatsoever.

It may seem as though the many things in the world
have their own numerous events and stories,
but this perception is just a manifestation of the human mind.

All things just live.
Only inside the human mind,
do countless different minds exist.
