In Korean, there’s a saying: “Huh, Huh, Cham” — “False, False, Truth.”
This profound expression perfectly describes the journey of awakening.
Master Woo Myung explains how we live trapped in a false world of our own making, and how Truth is the only thing that remains when all illusions fall away.

Huh, Huh, Cham (False, False, Truth)

Man lives in a world of sentient beings; a saha world; a world of hell; a world of sin and karma.
Man mistakenly believes he lives in the world but he does not. He lives in a world made by his own mind so he cannot become one with the world. The world he lives in is a world of sin and karma, a saha world, and a world of hell because he lives trapped inside a world of his own mind.

This world that he has made is a false, non-existent world. Because it is false, it disappears when you get rid of it – it is an illusionary world. When you eliminate this falseness repeatedly, Truth will remain.

Truth that remains once you have destroyed all falseness does not disappear however much you try to destroy it. This is the meaning behind the Korean saying, “Huh, huh, cham”.
