INTRODUCTION
β¨ In this reflection on the common categorization of human history, Master Woo Myung questions whether history can truly be divided into eras ruled by nature, philosophy, religion, or modern thought. While historians describe Antiquity as an age of logos and the Middle Ages as an age of God, this view overlooks a deeper continuity present throughout all ages. π
πΏ Master Woo Myung reveals that from the very beginning of human existence, people have worshipped Heaven and feared the unseen. Religion did not suddenly appear in the Middle Ages; Heaven has always existed as omnipotent and omniscient, guiding humanity whenever necessary by sending saints to reveal Truth. π
This teaching shows that history is not a progression from ignorance to belief, but a continuous relationship between humanity and the living Heaven. β¨

Is the Historical Categorization Correct?
Historians have largely categorized the history of the world as Antiquity, the Middle Ages, modern history and contemporary history. They explain that during Antiquity or ancient times, it was a period of nature and philosophy where logos ruled, while the Middle Ages was a period of God and man, controlled by providence and religion. Is it right to categorize it in this way?
Although historians can categorize and see the history of mankind in this way, it is not always right. This is because even during Antiquity, man worshipped God and feared the heavens. Man has had religion from the very beginning.
Heaven is omnipotent and omniscient, and thus whenever it was necessary it produced saints like Jesus Christ and Shakyamuni so that man could know Truth and teach man that heaven is alive.

πΏ REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, this teaching is contemplated as a reminder that Heaven has never been absent from human history. By recognizing the living presence of Truth throughout all ages, practitioners deepen their understanding of history not as division, but as continuity β exactly as taught by Master Woo Myung. π
