INTRODUCTION

✨ In this examination of Hegel’s dialectic method, Master Woo Myung clarifies the limits of reasoning that relies on opposition and synthesis. While dialectics aimed to reach Truth by reconciling contradictions, he explains that Truth is not something discovered by debating human thoughts against one another. 🌌

🌿 The origin is not produced through dialogue or conflict of ideas; it simply is. When people attempt to uncover the origin through opposing opinions, confusion and error arise. Though philosophy has progressed through discussion, the true origin of all things cannot be found through dialectical reasoning. 🌠

This teaching reveals that when one knows the origin itself—the energy from which all things arise and to which all things return—questions of spirituality, ideology, and history resolve naturally, without debate. ✨

Is the Dialectic Method Correct?

Hegel, a German philosopher, used the dialectic method of reasoning to study philosophy as well as applying it in every field of study. He held the method and function of dialogue and discussion as raising the level of knowledge of subject, object, spirituality, ideology, and history through contradictions and oppositions. Socrates also called the search for clear and believable conceptions and Truth through continuous dialogue dialectical thinking. Is the dialectic method correct?

The dialectic method that Hegel spoke of was a way to reach Truth, but it cannot be applied to human dialogue. This is because the origin is not something that can be found by opposing human thought; it is simply what it is. Thus it can cause confusion and mistakes. Although there has been much progress through the discussion of philosophy, the true origin cannot be found through the dialectic method.

The dialectic method seeks to find Truth by attaining a higher level of knowledge through the meeting of two opposing opinions, but this method is not the origin. This is because the origin is the place from whence objects themselves came; people try and fit it into their own ideas, which is why it is not right. When one knows the origin, subjects such as spiritual matters, ideology, and history do not pose any problems.

But because man does not know the origin, man’s thoughts dwell only in one area. That origin, which is Truth and the mother of all creations, is the energy of the origin. It is through this origin that all things are made and to which all things return. All questions in philosophy will be resolved when one knows the origin.

🌿 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

At Santa Clara Meditation, this teaching is approached as a direct path beyond debate. By returning to the origin itself rather than opposing ideas, practitioners discover how Truth resolves all contradictions exactly as taught by Master Woo Myung. ðŸŒ
