In this teaching, Master Woo Myung explores the fundamental questions of heaven and hell. What happens after death? Is heaven a physical place or a state of being? According to Master Woo Myung, heaven is the true world, where one lives in oneness with the Creator (the Universe), which is the eternal and complete Truth. On the other hand, hell is the illusionary world created by the false mind, a self-made world of karma and sin. Only by repenting and discarding the false mind can one be reborn in the true world, experiencing everlasting life. 🌍✨

Heaven and Hell
People often speak of going to heaven or hell after death. But what are heaven and hell? What happens to people after they die? Clear answers to these questions cannot be found anywhere; nowhere can one actually be enlightened of the answers.
The existence of the Creator is the great Universe itself. The great Universe originally created a complete world, and everything in the world is also already complete and living in heaven – the land of God.
From the perspective of the Universe that is the Creator, everything is the existence of Truth that is already enlightened and alive.
This existence of Truth in the world consists of a great Soul and Spirit – this is the metaphysical real substance and the master of the Universe. This existence is not material; it is the metaphysical real substance of Truth. It is Truth, which existed before the beginning and which will exist for eternity.
If you become one with this existence in the world of this existence, this place is heaven.
No one, not a single person, is able to go to heaven because of his sins and karma. From our childhoods until the present, we have each made a world of our own minds by copying the world. This world is hell. Man does not live in the world that is true, instead he makes and lives in his own false mind world. When one has such a world only what is in that world exists for him, so when he dies he dies forever within it.
This mind world does not exist from the viewpoint of the true world, but it exists for the person who is living in it. This illusionary world is like a dream – just as a dream no longer exists once you wake up, the illusionary world does not exist although it may seem to exist. Hence, it is hell. Man has no choice but to go to this world of hell after death because he is not born in the world that is true.
Man can be born in the world if he repents all of his sins; he can be reborn in the true world if his illusionary world no longer exists.
Heaven is a land where those who have become one with the world live. Hell is a non-existent illusionary world which is made of pictures of the world.
A person who has become one with the real world, and who has been born in the world while he is living, will live forever.
