โจ Introduction
๐ฟ In this profound teaching, Master Woo Myung explains the true origin of hardships and suffering.
People believe hardships come from external conditions, but in reality, they arise from the selfโthe attachments, ego, and arrogance that bind us to our perceptions. ๐ซ๏ธ
This teaching reveals a powerful insight: when the self disappears, hardships naturally disappear as well, and one can enter a state beyond both joy and suffering. โจ

Hardships
Hardships exist
because of life.
What is life?
It is none other than
oneโs self.
To have self
is to be bound to oneโs form,
which is why hardships exist.
There is one way to escape from hardship:
If one lives in a place of hardships,
they disappear when he is without self.
People have many such hardships.
The reason people make hardships for themselves,
is their attachments, ego and arrogance,
all of which they are unable to discard.
Those hardships are not the enemy;
the enemy is the entity that is aware of those hardships;
the true world is a world where
neither joy nor hardships exist.
