What is Haneol? It is the pure, undivided state of existence where Body (Jung) and Mind (Shin)—pure emptiness and wondrous existence—are united. In this ultimate state, the individual becomes one with the Whole, and lives in eternal Heaven.
In this powerful teaching, Master Woo Myung describes the Dharmakāya, Sambhogakāya, and Nirmanakāya as one; the Holy Father, Holy Son, and Holy Ghost as one. It is in this unity where one transcends life and death and becomes Truth itself.

📝 ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Haneol
The ‘Haneol’ is the ‘Jung (Body)’ and ‘Shin (Mind)’.
The Jung and the Shin are
the ‘pure emptiness’ and the ‘wondrous existence’.
The pure emptiness and the wondrous existence are
the Holy Ghost and the Holy Father –
the Sambhogakāya and Dharmakāya.
Though nothing exists in the Haneol,
and even the idea of this non-existence is non-existent,
there exists within the Haneol
the Jung, or pure existence,
and the Shin, or wondrous existence.
The Haneol is the state in which
the mind does not exist,
but there is the wondrous existence – the Shin.
It is the state in which there is
the pure emptiness – the Body.
The Shin is the consciousness,
and this consciousness is
what discerns, distinguishes, and knows all things.
The body and the mind are not separate.
The pure emptiness and the wondrous existence are
the body and mind of man,
which is why one’s body is in itself
the pure emptiness and the wondrous existence,
Truth, the source, as well as the Universe.
Therefore, it is because
the pure emptiness and wondrous existence –
the Universe –
exists within man
that he is able to become Truth and be born again.
He can live.
The Jung and Shin would live.
He would be reborn as the Jung and Shin.
He would be born in eternal Heaven and live.
He would be one whose consciousness
has become reborn as
the consciousness of the Whole
while he is still living,
and thus he would continue to be in that state
even after he has died.
He who has died while he is alive
will have neither life nor death.
All are one.
And only a person
whose consciousness has been reborn as Truth
will have the Whole
and will live in eternal Paradise as God and Buddha.
In oneness, there exists nothing;
even this non-existence does not exist.
But amidst this non-existence
there is the consciousness –
the consciousness that is Buddha and God.
Thus he who has died while he is alive
and has become reborn as
the alter ego of this Buddha and God
will be born in eternal Heaven,
and there he will live.
There, the Dharmakāya, Sambhogakāya, and Nirmanakāya
are one.
The Holy Father, Holy Ghost, and Holy Son are one.
All are the one Dharmakāya-Sambhogakāya.
Both the pure emptiness and wondrous existence are
every creation of the universe;
both are Truth.
Everything will live as the Jung and Shin.
Everything that exists would be
the pure emptiness and wondrous existence.
The Whole that is within the individual
and the individual that is within the Whole
would be one.
And so this Land of oneness is where
the consciousness of the individual is reborn as
the consciousness of the Whole.
The Whole simply exists as it is,
but it is due to man’s delusions as an individual
that he is unable to become the oneness.
The oneness is both omniscient and omnipotent.
And the Land of oneness is where
those who have been reborn as the Jung and Shin live.
This Jung and Shin – the true Jung and Shin – is
the Body and Mind.
Therefore, that man’s body is alive and moves,
that he speaks, hears, sees, smells, and feels
are all the Jung and Shin.
In other words, the Whole that is
the Jung and Shin, or the Universe,
is what does these things.
Man’s body is born through the conditions of
earth, water, fire, and air;
by these conditions his body lives,
and by them, he dies.
But he whose body has within itself
the Jung and Shin
is Truth,
and as such, he will not only live,
but he will live in Heaven.
He will live absent of life and death while he is alive.
And though his body will eventually disappear,
he will have the consciousness of
the Universe – the Whole –
and in this consciousness, he will live on in his image.
The Whole and the individual are one and are Truth.
And he who has Truth within would be Truth itself.
As one, he would live in the Land of oneness.
He who has died while living will live as the master.
He who has died and has become one with God
will live as God.
He who has been reborn as Truth is Truth,
and so he will live in the Land of Truth.
Truth is one.
The whole of creation is entirely one.
And he who has become one will have no conceptions of
what is inside and what is outside
but will have everything inside himself.
Thus he will live in true Paradise as the master.
The Land of Truth is the place where
the past, present, and future do not exist.
It is the place from which the universe was born,
and it is where the universe will return.
The ultimate destination of Truth is
for the whole of the universe to live as one with
the one nimitta-animitta.
All will live, for they are one.
All will live in eternal Heaven, for they are one –
for they are Truth.
