🌿 INTRODUCTION

Many spiritual traditions teach that Buddha or God exists within oneself. Yet Master Woo Myung explains that this is true only when a person has been reborn with the mind of Truth, not while he remains trapped inside his individual mind — a false, self-made world.

The human mind is merely a collection of remembered images, an internal “videotape” that copies the real world but is itself unreal. Truth, God, Buddha, and heaven cannot exist within such illusion.

Only when one eliminates the false picture world and returns to the mind of the origin — the true world — does God, Buddha, and heaven truly dwell within.

This message reveals the essential distinction between living inside illusions and returning to the real world within.

God, Buddha and Heaven Are Within Man’s Mind

If you ask what Buddha is, Buddhism tells us that you are Buddha and that your mind is Buddha. Although this is correct, only a person who has the mind of Buddha is Buddha. Buddha, God, and heaven, do not exist in the human mind.

The human mind is the mind of one’s own world, made by copying the real world. When one lives in such a world which has turned against the real world, that world is false, non-existent and illusionary. Although man may think that he is alive, he is dead because he lives in this illusionary world – a world that is not alive.

In other words, the world is real but the mind world of pictures taken of the world is false. Man is an entity that lives inside a “videotape” that he has made. This is why man is incomplete, and in order to become complete, he takes up a religion, cleanses his mind and seeks Truth. Even now, many people all over the world are striving to achieve human completion.

Man does not exist in the real world because he lives inside this picture world; he does not have life and is therefore dead. God, Buddha and heaven do not exist inside such a mind – the human mind. When this mind is discarded and one returns to the mind of the true world, the mind of the origin, what is real and true – Buddha, God, heaven – will be within him, within his mind. Only he who has God and Buddha within him can know God and Buddha; only he who has heaven within can know heaven.

This existence that is Truth, the origin, is the master of the world that created the world. When this true existence becomes one’s mind, God, Buddha and heaven will be within him.

He who has become this mind has the mind of the world; he has the whole world within him. Therefore heaven is right where he is, and God that is Buddha is within him; the world becomes his mind. On the other hand, he who has the false picture world inside his mind is in a world of hell. Not only is he living in hell now, it is where he stays even after death because this world is the only one that exists within him. Simply put, a person in the picture world goes to hell while a person who has the mind of the original foundation, of Truth, will live forever in the land of Truth.

đź’« REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

To return to the true world, one must discard the picture world — the remembered life, habits, and self — and be reborn with the mind of Truth.

Through this meditation method, the false self disappears, and what remains is the original mind, where heaven, God, and Buddha truly exist.

Those who still live in their picture world dwell in suffering and illusion. Those who awaken to the origin live in the land of Truth — here and now — and live eternally.

Santa Clara Meditation provides a practical way to cleanse the mind and recover the true world within.
